After working to improve school lunches in Hungtington, WV during the show's first season, he is looking to work with LA schools this season. LAUSD has so far declined to allow him into the schools. 

Some of us at Farmscape spent the afternoon at an event he was holding in his new Westwood kitchen. We had the opportunity to speak with Jamie briefly and extended an offer to build vegetable gardens for the show.

We would love to do more school gardens, we enjoy the opportunity to work with kids, teachers, and parents. To date, we have assisted eight schools with different combinations of garden support: consulting, design, installation, and maintenance. More importantly, each school has been really happy with the results.
