Monrovia

Residential Project

Project Summary

This San Gabriel Valley backyard started as an overgrown lawn and rose garden. By utilizing the turf removal rebate program, the lawn was replaced with a raised bed vegetable garden, California native plants, a decomposed granite patio with space for outdoor dining, natural play areas for the kids, and an extensive home orchard. The orchard now includes peach, plum, pluot, avocado, grapefruit, pomegranate, passionfruit, pineapple guava, and cane berries, complementing the existing orange, Meyer lemon, and mandarin trees already on the property.
