USC Hotel

Commercial Project

Project Summary

This culinary garden was added to an existing courtyard on the east side of the USC Hotel, providing fresh produce that guests can enjoy next door at McKay’s restaurant. The garden is elevated on a gray Trex deck, which accommodates irrigation to each planter and conceals drainage, allowing the space to host events with the garden serving as a picturesque backdrop. Passionfruit archways frame semi-dwarf citrus trees and perennial flowers, complementing the seasonal vegetables and herbs grown throughout the rest of the garden.
