Patterson Ranch
Project Summary
Patterson Ranch is the first working Agrihood in the Bay Area. Row crops and raised beds use regenerative and organic farming methods to produce fresh produce for the 500 homes in the community. Residents are encouraged to volunteer, take classes and workshops, and sign up to enjoy the bountiful harvests grown by the local farm team.

Project Goals
After the neighborhood was built in 2015, Farmscape designed the production areas and irrigation, building on earlier landscape design work by The Guzzardo Partnership Inc. We have designed the crop layout for subsequent years.
“Farmscape staff aren’t just knowledgeable and dedicated about growing food and cultivating crops. They are passionate about educating the community and creating a space where anyone of any ability can ‘get in the dirt’ and learn to grow.”
— Christine C. (Resident & Volunteer )
