Project Goals

  • Create community involvement and neighborhood identity
  • Celebrate the agricultural legacy of Fremont
  • Provide residents with fresh, organic produce
  • Create stormwater infiltration between the neighborhood and the adjoining Coyote Hills
Row crops that grow several tons of organic food annually

After the neighborhood was built in 2015, Farmscape designed the production areas and irrigation, building on earlier landscape design work by Guzzardo Landscape Architects. We have designed the crop layout for subsequent years.

“Farmscape staff aren’t just knowledgeable and dedicated about growing food and cultivating crops. They are passionate about educating the community and creating a space where anyone of any ability can ‘get in the dirt’ and learn to grow.”
