Emerald Hills

Residential Project

Project Summary

A dream Farmscape project, this Emerald Hills home is a beautiful site with big open views of the bay, but the east-facing slope and mature Quercus agrifolia lending coziness and intimacy. Our clients wanted easy, low maintenance pathways around their site for quick access to their vegetable garden and orchard. But they also wanted some high style elements, like the curved high-gloss red raised beds, and a modern steel passion fruit trellis. For the supporting summer-dry, pollinator garden, we were able to choose from a large palette of native plants endemic to the region, creating a modern garden wonderland for this Bay Area family.
