Mediterranean Potager
Project Summary
Great landscapes don’t compete with history—they celebrate it.
For this historic Northern California estate, Farmscape transformed an overlooked side yard into a productive edible garden that feels as though it has always belonged. Existing brickwork, mature trees, iron gates, and a restored century-old greenhouse became the foundation for a landscape that honors the property’s heritage while supporting everyday life.

Drawing inspiration from traditional French and English parterre gardens through a California Mediterranean lens, the design balances formal structure with abundant harvests.
